instead of using zips on the back, i recommend poppers. easier to open and close then a zip. you dont have to use a yoga mat for the inside, be creative and find out what works best. perhaps 1/2" foam. the yoga mat would be fine for the base though. these are great if you dont like the big clumsy clumpy feet. easy to walk in and very comfy. for the underside i use a rubber sheet cut to shape and stuck on, then just paint on coloured latex for the paw pads.
